Our magnetically switched electronic distributor is maintenance-free and very reliable. It can restore lost performance as a result of wear and has a more aggressive advance curve for better throttle response and increased performance. Once installed, timing accuracy is permanently maintained. The magnetic switch is much faster than points and allows more precise spark timing for more complete combustion. A Bosch Blue Coil will work perfectly with our ID405.
